Every hospital in the United States that provides a transplant program must be a member of the Organ Procurement Transplant Network (OPTN) and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). All U.S. hospitals' transplant outcomes, including Henry Ford Hospital, are provided by UNOS.
Henry Ford provides pancreas transplant alone, simultaneous pancreas and kidney transplant, and pancreas transplant after kidney transplant. Our patient outcomes consistently meet or surpass the national rates.
