Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

Otolaryngology is a field of medicine that treats some of the most critical areas of our bodies: our ears, nose and throat. More commonly referred to as Ear, Nose and Throat, ENT is the oldest medical specialty in the United States.

Henry Ford Department of Otolaryngology has taken this specialty to new levels. Our department specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of disease, ranging from the common to complex, including:

  • Sinus surgery
  • Nose and sinus disorders, including sinusitis and deviated septum
  • Cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
  • Hearing loss and impairment solutions, such as hearing aids or cochlear implants
  • Tinnitus, balance disorders and fall assessments
  • Sleep disorders, such as snoring and sleep apnea
  • Audiology and speech language disorders
  • Voice and swallowing disorders
  • Head and neck cancers
  • Special medical needs of performing artists
