The medical library at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital provides service to its physicians, employees, students and people living in neighboring communities. The library consists of a large room for the book and journal collection, two offices, a quiet study room, an audiovisual room and a computer room with eight public access computers. Affiliation with Henry Ford Hospital's Sladen Library provides access to many databases as well as a large selection of electronic books and journals. The library has arrangements with other medical and non-medical libraries throughout the United States and Canada to obtain items not in our collection.
The library is located on the fourth floor of the Honor Building. It is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and is available 24 hours to all physicians, including residents and medical students.
