Dr. Cynthia D. Ray Patient Rescue Fund

Dr. Cynthia D. Ray gave her life in a tragic accident that occurred as she was in the process of rescuing six teens trapped in an overturned vehicle on the expressway. Throughout her career and personal life, Dr. Ray relentlessly did everything in her power to come to the rescue of those who needed her most.

To honor her life and legacy, Dr. Ray's family, loved ones, and colleagues have established the Dr. Cynthia D. Ray Patient Rescue Fund. This fund will be used to provide supplemental support and emergency assistance to pulmonary patients who encounter barriers to receiving medical care including costs related to transportation, hotel/lodging, prescription drugs and other emergency needs.
