Henry Ford Tobacco Treatment Services offers programs to help patients quit using any type of tobacco.
Based on years of research and experience, Henry Ford's quit-tobacco programs make the process of giving up tobacco easier by providing the treatment needed to overcome the physical, emotional, and social dependency on tobacco. Patients learn how to prepare for quitting, deal with nicotine withdrawal, overcome cravings, and most importantly how to quit tobacco for good.
More than 5,000 patients have enrolled in programs offered by Tobacco Treatment Services at Henry Ford. The programs are staffed by experienced counselors with specialized education and certification in the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence. Patients can enroll by telephone, email, or even receive bedside help while hospitalized. Don't go through the struggle of quitting alone. Enrolling in one of these programs will increase the likelihood of success in achieving a tobacco-free life.
