Tour de Ford

A benefit for the Tom Groth Patient Medical Needs Fund

When:  Sunday, September 12, 2010
Where:  Henry Ford Medical Center-Sterling Heights

Henry Ford Emergency Departments will hold the 1st Tour de Ford bike ride.  This event will begin and end at Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights and feature two routes. 

The long route will be a metric century (67 miles) and ride from the medical center and make pit stops at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, ending back at Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights.

The shorter route will be roughly 34 miles and ride from the medical center to the pit stop at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and ride back to Henry Ford Medical Center - Sterling Heights.

Every rider must wear a helmet for the ride and have a liability form filled out and on file prior to the day of the race, which is attached to the registration form. (linked on the right of this page)

We are in need of volunteers to work at the start and finish lines as well as at our pit stops.  If you are interested in volunteering, please leave a message for more information.
