I specialize in Critical Care, Women`s Lung Health and Lung Cancer and Interventional Pulmonology.
Dr. Ray attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in the West Indies. She completed her post-graduate training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Currently, Dr. Ray is a clinical assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine as well as a senior staff physician at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.
Awards, Honors and Publications
Dr. Ray is the secretary and treasurer of the Michigan Thoracic Society as well as the chairperson of the Tri-State Thoracic Society. She is a member of the American Association of Bronchology, World Association of Bronchology, American College of Chest Physicians and American Medical Association. She has participated in extensive research, publication and scientific presentations in Pulmonary Medicine. Her special interests include Interventional Pulmonology which includes advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy and Women's Lung Health which includes diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases in women as well as smoking prevention and cessation.
