It is challenging to identify men with significant prostate cancer who would most benefit from therapy.  MR imaging has emerged as an imaging modality to detect, grade, and stage prostate cancer. This unique, one day, high yield course will provide a comprehensive overview of multiparametric MR imaging for prostate cancer diagnosis.

The program will cover the following:

  • Case presentations and panel discussions regarding MRI basics, indications for prostate MRI, active surveillance, biomarkers and imaging
  • Relevant MR imaging parameters for prostate cancer
  • The role of MR imaging to guide decision making for active surveillance, prostate biopsy and treatment
  • MR targeted biopsy, focal prostate ablation and emerging biomarkers
  • New BPH treatments such as prostate artery embolization, holmium laser enucleation and robotic simple prostatectomy

This CME accredited course will discuss how to build a practice that incorporates prostate MRI, and helps urologists, radiologists, and interventional radiologists to diagnose and treat patients more effectively.
