Shannon Zabolotny, CRCR

Shannon ZabolotnyShannon currently serves as a Transaction Flow Specialist within the Corporate Business Office (CBO) since 2019.  As an experienced revenue cycle specialist of other health systems, she recently joined HFHS and has worked on both the Reporting & Non-EPIC Technology Team and the Process Management & EPIC Work Queue Design Team within the HFHS Revenue Cycle. Her work consists of process improvement, workflow and data analysis, and reviewing financial metrics for potential technological integration or process automation to improve financial outcomes. Whether it be learning how automate an otherwise manual, lengthy workflow, or discover room for enhancement through data analytics; her passion for innovative technology is driven by the idea of creating a more efficient tomorrow for our healthcare system and the patients we serve.

Shannon graduated with an A.S. in Health Information Technology (RHIT), and a B.S. in Health Science with a concentration in Healthcare Leadership from Oakland University. She is also an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). In her spare time, Shannon enjoys exploring new biking trails, visiting lighthouses in Michigan with her significant other, and spending time with friends and family.
