Dr. Tatjana Ratzenberger is a graduate of Oakland University where she majored in Spanish, with minors in General Business and Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry and completed her clinical internships at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, Henry Ford OptimEyes, and the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System. She finished a residency in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at both the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and the Hines VA Central Blind Rehabilitation Center in Chicago. Dr. Ratzenberger is fluent in German and Spanish and enjoys learning new languages and studying other cultures. In her free time, Dr. Ratzenberger enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, rollerblading, swimming, skiing, playing piano, listening to music, and volunteering.
