Deborah Buckner is a licensed social worker, marital and family therapist, and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) by the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals. She has over 24 years postgraduate experience in adult behavioral health. She became interested in behavioral health while serving as a trained volunteer in crisis intervention at a crisis center. She has experience treating patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Deborah received her master’s degree in social work and completed a certificate program in Couples and Family Therapy at Wayne State University. Her clinical areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, co-dependency issues, grief and loss, and transitional life issues.
