Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 6 apples (McIntosh work well)
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon trans fat free margarine

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat an 11 x 7-inch baking pan with vegetable oil cooking spray. Remove core from apples and leave skin intact. Place apples in prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, raisins and cinnamon. Stuff each cored apple with brown sugar mixture and place a 1/2 teaspoon margarine on top of each apple. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
