Baked Cheese Grits

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a medium saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Slowly add grits, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in cheddar cheese, margarine, salt and ground white pepper. Pour grits into a 1-quart casserole dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake, uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. If desired, top with a dash of cayenne pepper sauce.
