Jackie Youn, OD, FAAO

Dr. Youn is a native of South Korea. She graduated from Ferris State University in 1999. She went on to study optometry at the Michigan College of Optometry. She completed a residency in Primary Care Optometry with emphasis in Ocular Disease at TLC Eyecare. She also completed her Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Youn has worked in primary care optometry for six years where she helped manage eye infections, glaucoma, and postoperative patients (laser vision correction surgery and cataract extraction surgery). Dr. Youn joined Henry Ford OptimEyes in March 2009. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf, video games, and cooking. She holds a black belt in Taekwondo and also played the piano for 20 years.
