    Coverage Details

    • Care at urgent care or emergency facilities is covered whether you’re in or outside the Southeast Michigan area.
    • Urgent care copays are the same in all locations.
    • Emergency room copays are waived if you are admitted.

  • Emergency Care

    Emergency care is always a covered benefit.

    If you’re in Southeast Michigan

    • Go to any Henry Ford Health Emergency Department for in-network coverage.
    • Legacy Ascension Emergency Departments are also in-network.
    • Visits to non–Henry Ford Health facilities within Southeast Michigan are considered out of network.

    If you’re outside Southeast Michigan

    • You can go to any Emergency Department, and it will be covered as in-network.
