Eating healthy during the holidays can be such a challenge. No one wants to feel like they are depriving themselves or missing out on a favorite family recipe that only comes out once a year.

This Cranberry Apple Crumble is a simple Heart Smart® dessert that offers those fall and winter flavors we all love — baked apples and tart cranberries — without the extreme amounts of saturated fat and sugar featured in your beloved holiday desserts, like pies and cookies. It’s also a great example of just letting the natural sweetness of the fruit really shine. Here, it’s is enhanced by just the right amount of sugar and a crunchy crumble featuring heart-healthy oats, brown sugar and margarine.

Adding this to your holiday table may just make it the new favorite everyone is requesting next year!
