Aging and Heart Health

The senior Healthy Living program welcomes Dr. Brittany Fuller for this virtual presentation on aging and heart health. Dr. Fuller is an interventional cardiologist with Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

During this class we will cover a number of topics related to heart disease as we age. In this virtual session, you will learn what it means to have coronary artery disease, the disease process, how the disease progresses and the various ways to treat the disease. We will discuss the risk factors for coronary artery disease and the most common medications that are used in treatment. We will also discuss non-pharmacological treatments.
