Knitting Hope, hosted by Parker Avenue Knits

Learn to stitch while connecting with fellow cancer patients, post-treatment survivors, and caregivers. Parker Avenue Knits of Detroit will host a series of knitting classes that will teach participants the fundamental skills needed to complete stitching projects. Many find the act of knitting to be therapeutic -- a resource for distraction to combat stress, and respite to promote wellbeing.

This group is open to anyone of any skill level- beginners with no experience are welcome! Supplies will be provided, or feel free to bring a knitting project you're already working on.
