There are big differences between what happens at your child’s regular wellness visit and a sports physical. A pediatrician explains why each is important.

Is your child due for their wellness visit? Did you know you can get their sports physical for the 2024-2025 school year at the same time?
To help you prepare early for the next school year, Henry Ford Pediatrics is offering full-service visits, which include both a well-child visit (checking vitals, physical exam, discussing developmental milestones, etc.) as well as a sports physical so your child can participate in school athletics.
These visits are by appointment only. See the table below for dates, times and the phone number to make an appointment at your preferred location.
All locations are open to students ages 11-18 from any school district. If the times below don’t work for your schedule, you can also contact your regular pediatrician to make an appointment for a different time.
