Henry Ford Hematology & Oncology - Jackson (Gayle M. Jacob Cancer Center), now a part of Henry Ford Cancer, focuses on the treatment of cancer through medication, including chemotherapy (as opposed to radiation or surgery).

Our experienced physicians are specialists in medical oncology and hematology, which concerns diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the blood. Many of our chemotherapy treatments are prepared through chemotherapy IV robotics, an advanced technology that ensures dosage accuracy for maximum patient and staff safety.

Chemotherapy is provided at our Gayle M. Jacob Center for Medical Oncology, which was designed as a comfortable, private and healing environment. Our 16 infusion areas allow patients to control the temperature, lighting and volume and channel of their individual TV. Patient navigators provide education and personal support for patients and their families.
