About Me

Biographical Statement

Michelle Ewald is a licensed, master’s level clinical social worker who believes therapy is a collaborative process in which patients gain understanding of life's challenges and learn ways to address them. She has more than 20 years of experience providing therapy to children (ages 5+), adolescents, teens, families and adults. She is a clinician known for establishing immediate rapport with patients and addresses treatment as a collaborative effort for symptom relief.

Michelle tailors therapeutic techniques based on each patient’s needs. Her treatment approach is supportive, authentic and evidence based. She utilizes CBT, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, supportive and play therapy techniques. She has extensive experience treating ADHD, parent-child conflict, depression, anxiety and life transitions. Her clinical areas of special interest include assisting adolescents/teens and adults with LGBTQ+ specific issues.

Care Philosophy

"Life is about transitions; from child to adolescent/teen, high school to college, and from college to adulthood. Many transitions bring about changes in mood and feelings, as well as changes in the family dynamic. Whether you are a parent struggling to communicate better with your child or an emerging adult who is confused and overwhelmed by life, I believe every patient deserves to gain clarity, peace and a sense of relief. My goal is to provide the space needed to achieve your goals."
