Tailoring radiology care for your child

Children are more sensitive to radiation than adults, which is why we have child-friendly scans and protocols in place to make sure your child’s health and wellbeing are protected while still producing high-quality images. When it is required to use machines that produce radiation for a specific test, we follow the Image Gently and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards to limit radiation exposure.

In some cases, a specific test may require anesthesia or sedation. Our experienced team is equipped to make sure your child’s imaging experience is as safe and worry-free as possible.
