Henry "All of Us" Mobile Unit

Henry All of Us Mobile UnitHenry Hits the Road for Research

“Henry” is taking research on the road to help build awareness and excitement about the All of Us Research Program. This traveling mobile unit actively engages community members to join this landmark research project that will accelerate research and improve health.

About Henry, the All of Us mobile unit

The mobile unit is a 39 foot bus with 2 patient rooms, waiting area, and bathroom. The inside has medical refrigerators that store the bio-samples of participants that enroll onsite.

Henry's specially trained staff help the All of Us Research Program investigators conduct research and recruitment efforts for the program in Metro Detroit. Henry, the All of Us mobile unit makes it possible for enrollment to be conducted among underserved populations who otherwise may not hear about the program or be involved in research, such as:

  • College students
  • Disability Community
  • Elderly
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning and Intersex (LGBTQI) Community
  • Racial and Ethnic Minorities
  • Rural Communities

How it works

The on-board All of Us Research Program team gives individuals an opportunity for engagement, to ask questions, and to enroll on-site. Henry's mobile lab is able to collect blood and urine samples, as well as physical measurements so participants are able to fully enroll in the All of Us Research Program.
