The senior Healthy Living program invites you to attend our next event in the Healthy Living Lecture series. These free, virtual events feature expert speakers from Henry Ford Health who will discuss topics of importance for seniors. Each hour-long presentation will allow time for questions and answers.

Home modifications play a crucial role in preventing falls, particularly for older adults or individuals with mobility challenges.
In this Healthy Living webinar, Nicole Matthews Papelian, RN and Katie Watson, RN will discuss key changes someone could make to prevent falls and injuries. These include installing grab bars in bathrooms, using non-slip mats in wet areas and ensuring adequate lighting throughout the home, especially in hallways and staircases. These simple yet effective adjustments can greatly improve stability, independence, and overall quality of life at home.
Unlock the Power of HAP Medicare through Henry Ford Health! - October 1, 2025
Join Kyle Ingraham, director of government program sales at HAP (Health Alliance Plan), for our October 1 lecture on how to " Unlock the power of HAP Medicare Advantage through Henry Ford Health." Danny Lopaze, vice president and general manager of government programs at HAP, will serve as the event moderator.
During this presentation, Kyle will discuss the differences between Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D; Medicare plan basics ahead of the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), which runs from October 15 to December 7; and key updates to the Henry Ford Select (HMO) Medicare Advantage plan, including what's new for the upcoming year. A question-and-answer session will be included at the end of the presentation.
