Book Inspired Art Club
A relaxing and fun activity! Using paper, paint, felt, glue, and found items, we will create an artwork inspired by the cover of "Remarkably Bright Creatures". This book is a debut novel by Shelby Van Pelt and is about the unlikely friendship between a grieving widow, Tova, and a giant Pacific octopus named Marcellus at the Sowell Bay Aquarium where she is a staff member. This book cover is the perfect inspiration to create a work of art using your individuality, imagination, and creativity. Please come and join us in this fun activity in a supportive and relaxing environment.
The instructor (Tracy Wick) will demonstrate and guide/assist as required. ALL experiences are welcome. All tools and materials are provided. Please feel free to bring your own found items.
Donations to help toward the purchase of materials are encouraged and gladly accepted.
