Decoupaging a Valentine's Day Plate
Come join us in this enjoyable and relaxing class where we will decoupage a Valentine's plate as a decorative dish. Decoupage is a technique where a plate or other glass object is decorated with cutouts (various images, in this case, hearts, cupids, flowers, etc.) from paper or paper napkins and glued to the glass object and sealed using a decoupage medium. This creates a unique, handcrafted art piece for display or gently use. You can decorate the edges with gold or silver paint and add personalized messages. All materials are provided, but if you have special paper or napkins you would like to use, please bring it along. All skills are welcome.
The instructor (Pat De Guia) will demonstrate, and assist/guide as required.
