Felted Mat & Ceramic Cottage Scene Workshop

Discover the healing and restorative power of art in a friendly, supportive environment with instructors Raj Thakore (ceramics) and Lynne Paul (felting)! This is a unique collaborative 3-part workshop where you will have use of both the Ceramic Studio and the Art Studio.

In the Ceramics Studio, we will make mini cottages that you can use with your felted mat. Let your creativity and imagination take flight as you form the cottages from clay. The instructor will then fire your mini cottages and will have them ready for you to glaze on 10/30/25 once you have completed the felt. You can choose your glaze colors and paint the cottages to accompany your felted mat. They will be fired a second time and will be ready to take home. In the Art Studio, you will be creating a one-of-a-kind felted mat using felt wool.

All instructions and materials will be provided. No prior clay or art experience is required. Class size is limited to 6 students so please register early to avoid disappointment.
