Ahmad Maarouf, MD, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. He is an accomplished physician executive with over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership.

Prior to his current role, he served as the CMO of HCA Kingwood hospital in Houston. While at HCA, Dr. Maarouf oversaw medical affairs and led a mixed model medical staff. As a member of the business development team at the facility, he was able to drive physician alignment, build strategic partnerships, and support the growth of several service lines.

He also led quality, patient safety, and regulatory initiatives at the facility. Known for a data-driven and patient-centered approach, Dr. Maarouf has led numerous initiatives that have measurably improved care outcomes, enhanced quality, and patient safety.

Throughout his career, Dr. Maarouf has played a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence and operational efficiency across complex and matrixed healthcare systems.

A dynamic leader, Dr. Maarouf is deeply committed to advancing healthcare delivery through excellence, integrity, and innovation.

Dr. Maarouf received his medical degree from the University of Damascus and completed his Nephrology and Critical Care fellowships from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
