Elana R Ackerman, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Ackerman is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric hospital medicine physician who enjoys caring for children of all ages, from newborns through adolescents. She provides comprehensive care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and values building long-term relationships with families as she watches their children grow. Dr. Ackerman is comfortable caring for all children, including those with special needs and autism, and strives to provide thoughtful, individualized care to every patient and family.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ackerman enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is an avid runner who has completed several half marathons and one full marathon, and she also enjoys reading and traveling up north with her family.
