Biographical Statement

Dr. Heather Grimaudo is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical management of complex skull base tumors and cerebrovascular conditions. She completed her neurosurgery residency and endovascular training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by advanced fellowship training in skull base and open cerebrovascular neurosurgery at the University of South Florida. Her clinical practice integrates open, minimally invasive, and endoscopic techniques to provide individualized treatment for patients with challenging intracranial tumors and vascular lesions.

Her areas of expertise include the treatment of skull base tumors such as meningiomas, vestibular schwannomas, pituitary adenomas, and craniopharyngiomas, as well as complex cerebrovascular disease, including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and neurovascular compression syndromes, such as trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, and glossopharyngeal neuralgia. She has a particular interest in multidisciplinary care, collaborating closely with colleagues from ENT, radiation oncology, and oncology to deliver comprehensive treatment tailored to each patient.

Care Philosophy

I believe every patient deserves safe, high-quality care and clear guidance when facing a challenging diagnosis. My goal is to provide the most effective treatment in a way that prioritizes patient safety, well-being, and peace of mind, treating each person as I would my own family. I work closely with a team of specialists to ensure every patient receives comprehensive, coordinated care.
