Biographical Statement

Dr. Iuppa is a general psychiatrist who diagnoses and treats the entire range of mental health problems in outpatient adults. In addition to treating his own patients, he serves as the Henry Ford Jackson Outpatient Clinic Director and mentors multiple advanced practice providers. Additionally, he is a psychiatric consultant for Henry Ford Jackson's Collaborative Care Program, an evidence-based program that helps improve access to quality mental health treatment through primary care offices. Finally, Dr. Iuppa is the Program Director for the Henry Ford Jackson psychiatry residency program. In his leadership roles, Dr. Iuppa strives to promote a culture of continuous improvement and service to the people of Jackson and the surrounding communities. He is passionate about medical education and hopes to provide his residents and students with the highest quality of training and mentorship in a supportive environment.

Dr. Iuppa grew up in Rochester, New York, and earned his medical doctorate at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. He also earned a Master of Public Health degree. After earning his MD, he completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Iuppa is committed to improving the lives of others through his work.
