Kristen M Sorrow, NP

Biographical Statement

I was trained in the area of family practice. I worked for almost two years in family practice before entering an oral surgery practice.

In 2010 I entered the field of Hematology-Oncology in Knoxville, TN where I experienced both inpatient and outpatient patient care. I joined Henry Ford Jackson Hematology Oncology in 2011 where I practiced in the outpatient clinic for almost 10 years.

Care Philosophy

My care philosophy is to identify concerns of patients and assist them in choosing health-promoting activities and behaviors that allow them to navigate their prescribed health care plan while maintaining personal well-being.

Research Interests

I have interests in stress and the effects it has on developing chronic illness. My other interests are around managing side effects from chemotherapy using physical activity.
