Milback ChristopherDr. Milback is an accomplished physician executive with extensive experience in physician alignment, population health management, integrated delivery systems, payer operations, utilization management, accountable care organizations and value-based contracts. His expertise extends to aligning physicians around a common purpose, including quality improvement and cost-effective care.

Before his appointment as CMO in May 2019, Dr. Milback was Medical Director of the Colleague Health Plan & Population Health for Trinity Health in Livonia, Mich. and has also worked in a variety of leadership roles at Health Plus of Michigan in Flint and Beaumont Health.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Milback earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and an MBA in health care management from Oakland University. He is currently president of the Oakland County Medical Society, a member of the Board of Directors of the Oakland County Medical Society and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He also has experience as an associate clinical professor at both Oakland University and Wayne State University.
