Henry Ford Health Food Allergy Registry

Thank you for your interest in the Food Allergy Registry. The Henry Ford Health (HFH) registry is no longer accepting patients. We recommend you contact your HFH provider or Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) a national organization for more information about food allergies.

FoodAllergy.org

Henry Ford Health allergists and researchers who specialize in food allergies invited eligible patients to participate in the Henry Ford Health Food Allergy Registry. This registry is used to support ongoing food allergy research conducted by Henry Ford Health physicians and scientists.

The goals of the registry are to:

  • Learn more about food allergies in children
  • Understand why food allergy rates have increased in recent years
  • Identify which treatments are most effective
  • Examine how food allergies affect diverse populations

Eligibility Requirements

To take part in the registry, children had to:

  • Be a patient at Henry Ford Health
  • Be under 18 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with a food allergy by a physician
  • Have completed an oral food challenge or
  • Have received a prescription for an epinephrine auto-injector

Only Henry Ford Health physicians who specialize in allergy care and research will have access to the registry. The information collected will be used solely to advance understanding and treatment of food allergies in children.
