Care Philosophy:
My goal is to provide a comprehensive evaluation to accurately diagnose what is causing your symptoms and provide you and your family with as much information as I can to help you make an informed decision about whether surgery is the right decision for you. If you decide to go forward with surgery, I try to provide the best and most compassionate surgical and postsurgical care possible. If you do not decide to proceed with surgery, I try to help coordinate care and obtain resources for you and your family. All care is coordinated with your other physicians, whether inside or outside of Henry Ford Health System.
Research & Interests:
Areas of interest include novel technologies in surgery for movement disorders and epilepsy, laser interstitial thermal therapy, robotic surgery, complex peripheral nerve surgery, normal pressure hydrocephalus, pain (including facial pain and cancer-related pain), racial and economic disparities, health care delivery, quality improvement and registry science.
