Curriculum
Residents actively engage in a wide range of educational activities, including monthly research meetings and journal clubs, quarterly morbidity and mortality (M&M) conferences, weekly didactic lectures, monthly hands-on labs, and regular radiology rounds. They also have access to multiple board review question bank subscriptions.
Our program features a state-of-the-art simulation lab, a cadaver wet lab, and an animal research facility. Residents receive extensive training in all areas of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, with particular emphasis on complex rearfoot and Charcot reconstruction procedures.
Residents consistently exceed the minimum surgical case requirements for graduation. The program also provides robust opportunities for research and publication. Graduates are thoroughly prepared to succeed in board qualification examinations.
