Throughout your experience with the Henry Ford Executive Health program, your personal executive liaison will be available to answer any questions you may have. Some common questions include:

How is your executive health program unique?

Our executive health program offers a range of tests that go far beyond routine, including predictive genetic testing. Our executive health team includes physicians from the Henry Ford Medical Group, one of the nation’s largest and most experienced group practices, and it is housed in the Henry Ford Center for Athletic Medicine, a state-of-the-art health and wellness facility.

What types of tests do you perform?

In our standard executive health evaluation, we include a physical exam and preventive care, genetic and laboratory screening tests, cardiovascular tests, wellness and lifestyle evaluations, and sex-specific tests.

How far in advance should I schedule my executive physical?

Early scheduling is recommended, as we typically fill executive health appointments at least six weeks in advance. You can request an appointment today.

What types of forms do I need to fill out for my executive health evaluation?

After scheduling your executive physical appointment, you will be paired with a personal executive liaison, who will help you to navigate the process, including completing the necessary intake paperwork.

After your exam day, you have the option of working with a personal health coach who can help you meet your individual health and wellness goals.

How much time does the evaluation take?

One full day. Any additional screenings/procedures can be scheduled for you on a different day, depending on physician referrals, and will not be included in the cost of the executive health physical.

How much does the executive health evaluation cost?

The cost of your evaluation will vary depending on the services rendered. You can inquire about specific details when you request your appointment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Your executive liaison will help you prepare for your appointment day, including providing prep instructions to better help you plan for your executive health visit. We also recommend scheduling a telephone or video visit with your physician before your evaluation day to review and finalize plans for your visit. We are happy to make adjustments to meet your needs.

When do I get my results?

Your executive health physician will review and discuss your results with you at the end of the visit, most of which will be available. This meeting gives you an opportunity to ask questions, and your physician will also provide a summary of our specialists’ recommendations for maintaining and improving your health.

In addition, you can review your results in real time in your Henry Ford MyChart, and we can mail you a summary of your visit. If you wish, we can also mail a letter to your personal physician.

What if I have questions after I leave or need additional specialty care?

As part of Henry Ford’s Executive Health program you will be provided with a direct line to our experts to answer any clinical question you have following your visit. Additionally, our executive health liaisons will always be available to help you navigate our system and schedule any additional appointments you may need with one of our board-certified specialists.

What if I want to see one of your primary care physicians for my long-term care?

Since our experts focus on offering comprehensive and personalized care, some people have requested a Henry Ford primary care physician for their long-term needs. At any time, we can help you find a doctor in one of our primary care sites located across southeast Michigan.
