Community Health

At Henry Ford Health System, our vision is to “be the trusted partner in health, leading the nation in superior care and value.” To be a truly transformative force for communities, it is key to listen to the voices of those we serve.

We continue to be your partner for community health needs. Services like wellness counseling, faith community nursing, prenatal and postnatal support, and tips on healthy eating will always be at the core of our work.

As we reflect on a year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the health of our diverse communities is more crucial than ever. We respond to our communities’ needs and requests by giving information that will help you and your loved ones stay safe, informed, and feeling well. You can rest easy knowing our team will keep these resources up to date.

We know that many of our community members have questions and concerns about the COVID-19 vaccines. These concerns are valid. There are currently three vaccines approved for use in the United States from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Each are safe and effective against the COVID-19 virus. Henry Ford is here with reliable, up to date information you can trust on COVID-19, the vaccines and your other health care needs. Together, we can make informed decisions, slow the spread of COVID-19, and save lives.
