Community Health
At Henry Ford Health, our vision is to “be the trusted partner in health, leading the nation in superior care and value.” To be a truly transformative force for communities, it is key to listen to the voices of those we serve.
We continue to be your partner for community health needs. Services like wellness counseling, faith community nursing, prenatal and postnatal support, and tips on healthy eating will always be at the core of our work.
The Office of Community Health, Education & Wellness, led by Dr. Kimberlydawn Wisdom, senior vice president of Community Health & Education and Chief Wellness Officer, is excited to share the 2026 Healing Arts Calendar. The 2026 calendar included a collaboration between the Office of Community Health, Education & Wellness and the Arts in Health Program, highlighting art at various Henry Ford Health locations.
It is flu season! The flu is a contagious respiratory illness that can cause mild to severe illness, that can potentially lead to hospitalization and even death. We strongly suggest that all people over the age of 6 months get a flu shot to help protect others from getting sick, especially since COVID-19 is still circulating. We know that there may be questions and concerns about the flu vaccine. For more information on the flu vaccine, please click here.
