Curriculum

Diverse Clinical Training

Fellows benefit from hands-on experience across urban and suburban clinical settings, including Henry Ford Hospital Detroit and Henry Ford Bloomfield Township. This ensures exposure to a broad range of headache conditions in varied patient populations.

The program includes:

  • Robust outpatient clinic experience
  • A half-day pediatric headache clinic every other week, offering valuable cross-age training

Advanced Procedural Training

Fellows are trained in evidence-based, interventional therapies, including:

  • OnabotulinumtoxinA injections for chronic migraine
  •  Peripheral nerve blocks
  • Sphenopalatine ganglion blocks
  • Trigger point injections

Training also includes experience in a dedicated 7-bay Migraine Infusion Center at Henry Ford Bloomfield Township, where patients receive intravenous acute and preventive treatments in an outpatient setting.
