Simulations Curriculum
Our program includes required monthly simulation training for interns to help prepare for certification in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS). Training simulators for laparoscopy and robotics are available for residents to practice at all hours. The program also covers fees associated with registration for Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery (FES) and FLS.

Robotic Skills workshop
Intuitive Da Vinci system patient console
A guided system overview of the patient console, system connections and startup, vision system, patient cart, docking and intraoperative patient cart use, and crucial safety features. Residents will set up an account in the My Intuitive app. This will allow them to access and track their instrument usage and logged training history to fulfill the Equivalency Certification requirements
