I specialize in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
In Inflammatory Bowel Disease, I try to focus on both maximizing the quality of life for the person right now, while also looking to the future with preventative health measures. I have very high expectations for how a person should feel, and will work diligently to reach those expectations. It is also important to get to know the person that I am working with. We want to understand their goals and help them reach their potential. We work with a team approach that includes the patient, the doctor and professionals in other specialties. Together we can make a difference in a person's life.
I completed medical school and then Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan. I then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield Michigan. In 2011 I joined Henry Ford Health System and have been working in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center in Novi Michigan. Our center has an interest in both maximizing the quality of life for our patients while also addressing preventative health issues.
