Our Leaders
Courtland Keteyian, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H.
President
Dr. Keteyian led the transformative work at Henry Ford Health that gave rise to the Mosaic CIN and was chosen to lead Mosaic CIN based on the nation leading success and vision of Jackson Health Network (JHN), where he served as President and CEO. He joined Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in 2016 as Medical Director for both JHN and the Jackson County Health Department, becoming President and CEO of JHN in 2019. He continues to practice clinically as Medical Director of Occupational Health at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.
Dr. Keteyian earned his Doctor of Medicine, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Michigan. He completed a residency in preventive medicine and fellowships in medical innovation at the University of Michigan and occupational medicine at the University of Colorado. He is dual board certified in preventive medicine and occupational medicine.
Erika Dochoda, M.S.A.
Chief Network Services Officer
Erika brings extensive experience to the Chief Network Services Officer (CNSO) role, having previously served as Vice President of Network Performance and Operations for Jackson Health Network. With more than 15 years in health network management and payor contracting, Erika’s expertise includes cultivating provider relationships, designing and negotiating value-based arrangements, and leading Direct-to-Employee Contracting strategies for Business Health.
As CNSO, Erika serves as the principal operational leader for network services, with oversight of provider membership management, payor programs, contractual and regulatory compliance, and the implementation of clinical program and practice transformation initiatives to optimize the network’s performance in value-based care.
Steve Fried, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Fried is a physician leader dedicated to advancing high-value, patient-centered care through quality improvement, care team collaboration and standardized clinical processes. He has led initiatives that improved system-wide performance on key measures such as breast cancer screening, diabetes management and hypertension control, driving measurable gains in population health. His work focuses on aligning clinical practice with value-based care, enhancing efficiency and improving patient care.
Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Fried earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed his residency at Overlook Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He has practiced at Henry Ford Health since 2004, holding multiple leadership roles including Medical Director for Primary Care Quality and Resource Stewardship. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Fried continues to champion innovation, collaboration and performance excellence across the clinically integrated network.

Miles Schermerhorn, M.H.S.A.
Chief Administrative Officer
Miles is a senior executive with over 15 years of progressive leadership at Henry Ford Health, where he serves as a trusted advisor and strategic leader. In his current role, he oversees core strategic initiatives, governance operations, and multiple key support functions across the Network. Previously, Miles served as the Administrative Director for the Henry Ford Cancer service line. In this role, he led operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives, most notably spearheading the opening and serving as the inaugural leader of the Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion.
Miles is recognized for his commitment to building high-performing teams and applying innovative leadership to drive the success of Mosaic CIN in delivering high-value, patient-centered care. He holds a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dayton.
Amy Schultz, M.D., M.P.H.
Executive Medical Director
Dr. Schultz is a board-certified Preventive Medicine Specialist with more than two decades of leadership in clinical preventive services and community-based health improvement in Michigan. She has led the Department of Prevention and Community Health at Henry Ford Allegiance Health for more than 20 years and formally joined the Jackson Health Network leadership team in 2015 to help advance the transformation toward clinically integrated health systems of the future.
In her role with Mosaic CIN, Dr. Schultz provides advisory consultation on finance, contracting, and performance management, while also providing operational leadership of CIN Population Health functions. She holds board certification in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health and earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan.
Aaron Sohaski, J.D., M.B.A., M.S.
Vice President, Contracting & Compliance
Aaron is a seasoned healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in value-based care. He has held progressive leadership roles across regulatory compliance, contracting, credentialing, and business development, bringing a unique blend of expertise in healthcare business and legal operations. As a licensed attorney, Aaron remains actively engaged in healthcare and bar associations, contributing insights to the ever-evolving healthcare industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University, a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. With his diverse skill set and passion for driving innovation, Aaron continues to make meaningful impact across healthcare and legal landscapes.
Our Medical Directors
Michael A. Foust, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Foust is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Foust has held key leadership roles within Mosaic CIN, including serving as chair of both the Clinical Performance Committee and the Provider Quality Committee, where he has contributed to quality improvement, clinical excellence and high-value care.
Dr. Foust currently serves as medical director at PACE, with a focus on geriatric medicine. His expertise includes managing complex chronic conditions and providing palliative and hospice care. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to improving patient experiences and supporting care that aligns with the goals and needs of patients and their families.
Angelos Katramados, M.D., M.M.M., MS.c.
Medical Director
Dr. Katramados is a neurologist at Henry Ford Health (HFH) and serves as vice chair for Quality and Informatics for the Department of Neurology, director of the Acute Stroke Unit, and director of the Cerebrovascular Laboratory. He is also an associate professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
During nearly 24 years at HFH, Dr. Katramados has held leadership roles in quality improvement, clinical informatics, stroke care, physician performance and patient-reported outcomes. His work focuses on clinical transformation, high-value care, quality measurement, care redesign, and the use of analytics to improve patient outcomes and experience.
Christie Morgan, M.D., M.S.
Medical Director
Dr. Morgan is a board-certified otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon at Henry Ford Health and serves as director of GME Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. Her clinical focus includes benign salivary gland disease and minimally invasive salivary gland surgery in adult and pediatric patients. She is a clinical assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine and chairs the American Board of Medical Specialties Ethics and Professionalism Committee.
Throughout her career, Dr. Morgan has held progressive leadership roles spanning surgical quality, patient safety, peer review, graduate medical education, and health system leadership. Her work focuses on clinical transformation, high-value care, quality improvement, and advancing surgical performance and outcomes across the health system.
Robert Root, D.O., A.B.P.
Medical Director
Dr. Root is a board-certified pediatrician at MSU Health Care Pediatrics. Dr. Root earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency with the Michigan State University – Sparrow Hospital Residency Program.
In addition to his teaching and clinical responsibilities, Dr. Root holds several leadership roles across MSU Health Care, the Department of Pediatrics and Michigan State University. He is an associate chief medical officer for MSU Health Care, chair of the MSU Health Care Peer Learning Committee and a member of MSU's Faculty Senate for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as an assistant professor and chair of the Department of Pediatrics Executive Board at MSU.
