Biographical Statement

I am a Physiatrist and have completed medical residency four-year training program in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). I am Board certified by American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation ABPMR since 2003 and have been in clinical practice since then. I am a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation for Michigan State University, in Lansing, MI. I am also a Physician Liaison on the State Advocacy Committee with AANEM- American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. I treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. In my clinical practice I apply my broad medical expertise to treat various disabling conditions throughout a person’s lifetime. I focus treatment on optimizing function and successful return to baseline by mitigation of functional impairments after illness injury or disabling conditions. My philosophy is to treat patients as a whole person, not just the problem area in order to best optimize their overall functioning in life.
