Dr. Ammar is from Dearborn, Michigan. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree. Before embarking on her fellowship, she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at the Detroit Medical Center/Harper-Hutzel Hospital. Her professional interests include anticoagulation, diabetes management, and teaching. In her free time, Amina enjoys traveling and practicing yoga.

Stephen Hegenauer, PharmD
PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident

Dr. Steven Hegenauer is from Westland, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Albion College, and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University. His professional interests include emergency medicine, infectious diseases, and solid organ transplant. Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time outdoors...whether playing sports, fishing, or tackling home improvement projects. He is also passionate about cooking and baking, a dedicated coffee enthusiast, and a self-taught mixologist (thanks to YouTube!).

His professional interests include oncology, and he plans to pursue PGY-2 residency training in this area. Dr. Shelly Shen comes from Toronto, Canada, where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto. Her professional interests include cardiology and infectious diseases. Prior to relocating to Michigan, she practiced as a pharmacist in Ontario for several years...Shelly has found it exciting to explore the evolving scope of pharmacy practice in her new state. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her cats, and traveling to experience different cultures and cuisines.
