Research

The fellow will be encouraged to conduct original clinical research and the work would be submitted for the American Transplant Congress, ASTS or AASLD. It would be expected that the fellow submit his original work to and be accepted by peer-reviewed journals. The fellow will also be involved in some capacity in other clinical research conducted by the division senior staff. The fellow will also be asked to participate in the yearly transplant fellow symposium.
