Meet the Faculty
The ACGME requires 1 full-time faculty equivalent/6 residents, and our program currently employs 12 board-certified FM physician educators, each with different residency responsibilities. In addition, the program utilizes the services of a full-time Behavioral Scientist and several community board-certified Family Physicians who precept on a part-time basis.
The full-time faculty is responsible for coordinating the educational experience of the residents and helping them acquire the knowledge and diverse skills needed to function as well-rounded primary care providers in the future. In addition, there are many subspecialty physicians who provide training in their areas of expertise across the many disciplines of Family Medicine.
