Medical Education Elective Rotation Request

Students interested in rotating at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital, must fill out this application for a rotation. You will be contacted as soon as possible after your application is received. Please contact the specific program manager regarding resident rotations only. Due to the demand for rotations at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital, visiting students are limited to two (2) rotations or eight (8) weeks per Academic year. Rotations scheduled will start beginning January 19., 2026 until May 24, 2026. Elective rotations will not be scheduled or accepted during the audition season. Elective rotation requests are accepted starting January 5, 2026 until April 24th, 2026 for elective rotations starting from January 19,2026 until May 24, 2026..  Any applications submitted outside these times for rotations will not be processed. This is considered an initial application for enrollment and does not guarantee a rotation. All communication regarding rotations will be done by email only. At the time a student schedules and rotates all attempted Boards must be passed. If this status changes between being scheduled and rotating, the hospital must be notified.
