Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship

The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Program at Henry Ford Hospital is a one-year ACGME accredited training program that provides an extensive training in Clinical Neurophysiology. We also offer two year positions to interested individuals. The second (non-ACGME) year aims for further subspecialization and related clinical or basic research.
We offer five positions every year. On completion of the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Program, the fellows gather far-reaching skills in one or more of the following:
- Electroencephalography (EEG)
- Motor and sensory nerve conduction studies (NCS)
- Diagnostic electromyography (EMG)
- Single-fiber electromyography (SFEMG)
- Video/EEG monitoring
- Critical care monitoring (CCM)
- Magnetoencephalography (MEG)
- Evoked potential (EP) studies
- Sleep studies (PSG and MSLT)
- Electrodiagnostic movement disorder assessment
- Botox injections
- Muscle and nerve biopsies
- Testing of the autonomic functions
