Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in:
- Pathology (AP, CP, or AP/CP), or
- Medical Genetics
Board certification or board eligibility in Pathology or Medical Genetics is required.
Required Documents
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal Statement
- Three Letters of Recommendation (including one from residency program director)
- USMLE/COMLEX scores
- ECFMG certification (if applicable)
How to Apply
We are currently receiving applications for both the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 academic years:
- Please email your required documents (see Eligibility & Requirements) to our Program Coordinator, Erika Morrison, or Program Director, Dr. Juan C Gomez-Gelvez, specifying the academic year for which you are applying.
- For the 2027-2028 academic year, The Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship Program will participate in the NRMP Match process. Applicants should review the AMP Fellowship Match website.
