Why Family Medicine: I chose Family Medicine as I felt confident I would be able to honor my goals as to why I became a physician in the first place. Family Medicine allows me to cultivate the best physician-patient relationship and deliver honest patient care. It also encompasses preventative measures naturally and allows for advocacy for patients. As someone who would like to focus on preventative care for patients, it felt right in my niche.
